United Methodist University ICT College and the OPSWAT Academy, USA.

The UMU ICT College in partnership with the OPSWAT Academy Scholarship Program of the USA, is hosting an intensive six-months online Cybersecurity Training. Starting August 2024 to February 2025, participants are expected to be trained in the concepts and practices of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), gain current and ready-to-apply cybersecurity knowledge, and be able to protect any network in practice from cyberattacks. Registration is now in progress and ends on August 15th, 2024. Contact the United Methodist University ICT College’s office to register.


The goal of this training is to equip participants with the relevant skills needed to recognize and respond to cyber threats; increase cybersecurity awareness among young Liberians and professionals; increase cybersecurity and information technology literacy rate among young Liberians and professionals; build the capacity of young Liberians and professionals in the applications of cybersecurity tools, and skills as well as prepare them for the digital age and job market.
